Warner
Bros. Pictures is one of the biggest distribution companies in the
world as they are famous for the distribution process of all eight of
the Harry Potter films.
They
first distributed this by a teaser poster which they released on New
Years Day in 2001, this was then followed by a teaser trailer which
was released 2 months later by satellite. The film was then later on
released in the UK on 11th may 2012.
This
gave them a lot of recognition from potential customers, which meant
that they saw a gap in the market to release video games and toys,
which would bring high profit and a range of customers, whilst
building up their fan base and reputation.
